Who we are

Oriv (“Oriv”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Oriv Labs Private Limited(CIN: U62011KA2026PTC218771), a company registered in India with its registered office at AWFIS, 24 Residency Road, Sabari Complex, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Bangalore North, Bangalore – 560001, Karnataka, India. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use Oriv, why, and how you can control it.

What we collect

  • Account details: your name and email address (via Supabase Auth).
  • Interview session data: live audio and the resulting transcript of your mock interview sessions, processed through LiveKit (real-time transport) and Deepgram (speech-to-text).
  • Code you write and submit during coding rounds, executed via our sandboxed code runner (Judge0).
  • Billing information when you purchase a credit pack – card/UPI details are handled entirely by our payment partner and are never stored on our servers.
  • A device fingerprint cookie used only to prevent abuse of one-time free-trial credits, and a Cloudflare Turnstile check to filter out bots on signup.

We do not run advertising trackers or sell any personal data to third parties.

Why we process it

To run your interview session (speech recognition, generating the interviewer’s responses via our AI decision model, and code execution), to generate your post-interview feedback report, to operate the credit/billing system, and to prevent fraud and abuse of free trials.

Who we share it with

We use the following processors solely to operate the service: Supabase (database and authentication), LiveKit and Deepgram (voice transport and transcription), our AI model provider (interview decisioning), Judge0 (code execution), Cloudflare (bot protection), and our payment partner (billing). Each processes only the data necessary for its function and is bound by its own data-processing terms with us. We do not share your data for marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

Session transcripts and reports are kept for as long as your account is active so you can review past interviews and track progress over time. You can request deletion at any time (see “Your rights” below).

Your rights

As a company processing personal data of users in India, we follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA). You may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, or withdraw consent for further processing, at any time by writing to our Grievance Officer below. We will respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable law.
